EUR/USD fell over the cliff. After holding on to the significant support line for quite a long time, it fell off. Euro/Dollar fell as low as 1.2952. The move still needs to be confirmed. We got some bad figures earlier in the day from Europe. GDP for the third quarter, was revised downwards to 0.3%.

Canada gained 22,000 jobs in December, exceeding expectations for a rise of 19,000. The unemployment rate also posted a positive surprise – it remained at 7.6%, better than expected.
